ससि गुर तिय गामी नघुषु चढ़ेउ भूमिसुर जान। लोक बेद तें बिमुख भा अधम न बेन समान॥ २२८ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sasi guru tiya gāmī naghusu caṛheu bhūmisura jāna। loka beda teṃ bimukha bhā adhama na bena samāna॥ 228 ॥
Meaning
The moon became one who went to a teacher's wife; King Nahusha mounted a Brahmin's palanquin. And there is none more base than King Vena, who turned away from both the world and the Veda.
