सकल सनेह सिथिल रघुबर कें। गए कोस दुइ दिनकर ढरकें॥ जलु थलु देखि बसे निसि बीतें। कीन्ह गवन रघुनाथ पिरीतें॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sakala saneha sithila raghubara keṃ। gae kosa dui dinakara ḍharakeṃ॥ jalu thalu dekhi base nisi bīteṃ। kīnha gavana raghunātha pirīteṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Because of their love for Raghubara, everyone became weary, and by sunset they had gone only two kos. Seeing water and land, they stayed there through the night; at dawn they resumed the journey out of devotion to Raghunatha.
