सबहिं बिचारु कीन्ह मन माहीं। राम लखन सिय बिनु सुखु नाहीं॥ जहाँ रामु तहँ सबुइ समाजू। बिनु रघुबीर अवध नहिं काजू॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sabahiṃ bicāru kīnha mana māhīṃ। rāma lakhana siya binu sukhu nāhīṃ॥ jahāṃ rāmu tahāṃ sabui samājū। binu raghubīra avadha nahiṃ kājū॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
All reflected in their hearts: 'Without Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita, there is no happiness. Wherever Rama is, there is the whole assembly. Without Raghubir, there is no purpose for us in Ayodhya.'
Context
This is Chaupai 3, Under Doha 84 from Ayodhya Kand, in the episode “Departure for the Forest, Ayodhya Left Behind”. The episode describes Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana departing for the forest while Ayodhya's grieving citizens are left sleeping behind.
