रिषि रुख लखि कह तेरहुतिराजू। इहाँ उचित नहिं असन अनाजू॥ कहा भूप भल सबहि सोहाना। पाइ रजायसु चले नहाना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

riṣi rukha lakhi kaha terahutirājū। ihāṃ ucita nahiṃ asana anājū॥ kahā bhūpa bhala sabahi sohānā। pāi rajāyasu cale nahānā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Seeing Visvamitra’s mood, King Janaka of Tirhut said, “It is not proper to eat grain here.” The king’s gracious words pleased everyone. Receiving permission, all went to bathe.
