रामहि देउँ कालि जुबराजू। सजहि सुलोचनि मंगल साजू॥ दलकि उठेउ सुनि हृदउ कठोरू। जनु छुइ गयउ पाक बरतोरू॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rāmahi deuṃ kāli jubarājū। sajahi sulochani maṃgala sājū॥ dalaki uṭheu suni hṛdau kaṭhorū। janu chu'i gayau pāka baratorū॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

I am giving Rama the crown prince's seat tomorrow. So, O beautiful-eyed one, get your auspicious adornment ready. As soon as she heard this, her hard heart cracked, as though a ripe boil had burst when touched.
