राम संग सिय रहति सुखारी। पुर परिजन गृह सुरति बिसारी॥ छिनु छिनु पिय बिधु बदनु निहारी। प्रमुदित मनहुँ चकोरकुमारी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rāma saṃga siya rahati sukhārī। pura parijana gṛha surati bisārī॥ chinu chinu piya bidhu badanu nihārī। pramudita manahuṃ cakorakumārī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
With Rama, Sita lives in happiness, forgetting Ayodhya, her relatives, and her home. Moment by moment she gazes at her husband’s moon-like face and is filled with delight, like a female chakor rejoicing at the moon.
