राम मातु गुर पद सिरु नाई। प्रभु पद पीठ रजायसु पाई॥ नंदिगावँ करि परन कुटीरा। कीन्ह निवासु धरम धुर धीरा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rāma mātu guru pada siru nāī। prabhu pada pīṭha rajāyasu pāī॥ naṃdigāvaṃ kari parana kuṭīrā। kīnha nivāsu dharama dhura dhīrā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
After bowing his head at the feet of Rama’s mother and guru, and receiving the Lord’s command through his sandals, the steadfast Bharata, who bore the burden of righteousness, made a leaf-hut in Nandigram and lived there.
