राजधरम सरबसु एतनोई। जिमि मन माहँ मनोरथ गोई॥ बंधु प्रबोधु कीन्ह बहु भाँती। बिनु अधार मन तोषु न साँती॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rājadharma sarabasu etanoī। jimi mana māhṃ manoratha goī॥ bandhu prabodhu kīnha bahu bhāṃtī। binu adhāra mana toṣu na sāṃtī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

The whole essence of righteous kingship is this: just as a desire lies hidden within the mind. Lord Raghunatha instructed brother Bharata in many ways, but without some support his mind found neither contentment nor peace.
