रघुपति भगति सुमंगल मूला। नभ सराहि सुर बरिसहिं फूला॥ एहि सम निपट नीच कोउ नाहीं। बड़ बसिष्ठ सम को जग माहीं॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
raghupati bhagati sumaṃgala mūlā। nabha sarāhi sura barisahiṃ phūlā॥ ehi sama nipaṭa nīca kou nāhīṃ। baḍa vasiṣṭha sama ko jaga māhīṃ॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The devotion to Raghupati is the root of all good fortune. Saying this in praise, the gods showered flowers from the sky. They said, ‘In the world there is no one as utterly low as this one; and who is as great as Vashishtha?’
