पुरजन मिलहिं न कहहिं कछु गवँहिं जोहारहिं जाहिं। भरत कुसल पूँछि न सकहिं भय बिषाद मन माहिं॥ १५८ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
purajana milahiṃ na kahahiṃ kachaṃu gavahiṃ johārahiṃ jāhiṃ। bharata kusala pūṃchi na sakahiṃ bhaya biṣāda mana māhiṃ॥ 158 ॥
Meaning
The townspeople met him, but said nothing; they merely bowed in silence and departed. Bharata too could not ask anyone about their welfare, for fear and sorrow had filled his mind.
