पूजीं ग्रामदेबि सुर नागा। कहेउ बहोरि देन बलिभागा॥ जेहि बिधि होइ राम कल्यानू। देहु दया करि सो बरदानू॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

pūjīṃ grāmadebi sura nāgā। khaeu bahori dena balibhāgā॥ jehi bidhi hoi rāma kalyānū। dehu dayā kari so baradānū॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

They worshipped the village goddesses, the gods, and the serpents, and then spoke of offering bali again (that is, they vowed to worship once more when the work was accomplished). They prayed, “By whatever means Rama’s welfare may come about, grant that blessing with compassion.”
