प्रथम कुमत करि कपटु सँकेला। सो उचाटु सब कें सिर मेला॥ सुरमायाँ सब लोग बिमोहे। राम प्रेम अतिसय न बिछोहे॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

prathama kumata kari kapaṭu saṃkelā। so uchāṭu saba keṃ sira melā॥ suramāyāṃ saba loga bimohē। rāma prema atisaya na bichohē॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

First, having formed a wicked intent, he gathered deceit together. Then he cast that disturbing unrest upon everyone. By divine illusion all the people were bewildered, yet they were not completely severed from love for Rama.
