भय उचाट बस मन थिर नाहीं। छन बन रुचि छन सदन सोहाहीं॥ दुबिध मनोगति प्रजा दुखारी। सरित सिंधु संगम जनु बारी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bhaya uchāṭa basa mana thira nāhīṃ। chana bana ruci chana sadana sohāhīṃ॥ dubidhi manogati prajā dukhārī। sarita sindhu saṃgama janu bārī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Under the sway of fear and restlessness, the mind remains unsettled. In one moment they long for the forest, and in the next their homes seem pleasant. The people are distressed by this divided state of mind, as though the waters at the meeting of river and ocean were being churned and disturbed.
