पितु कह सत्य सनेहँ सुबानी। सीय सकुच महुँ मनहुँ समानी॥ पुनि पितु मातु लीन्हि उर लाई। सिख आसिष हित दीन्हि सुहाई॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

pitu kaha satya sanehaṃ subānī। siya sakuca mahuṃ manahuṃ samānī॥ puni pitu mātu līnhi ura lāī। sikha āsiṣa hita dīnhi suhāī॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Her father Janaka spoke true and beautiful words out of affection. But hearing her own praise, Sita seemed to shrink into modesty. Then her father and mother embraced her again and gave her loving counsel and blessings.
