फिरत नारि नर अति पछिताहीं। दैअहि दोषु देहिं मन माहीं॥ सहित बिषाद परसपर कहहीं। बिधि करतब उलटे सब अहहीं॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

phirata nāri nara ati pacchitāhīṃ। daiahi doṣu dehiṃ mana māhīṃ॥ sahait biṣāda paraspara kahahīṃ। vidhi karataba ulaṭe saba ahahīṃ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Returning, the men and women repent deeply and blame fate in their hearts. In sorrow, they say to one another that all the works of Providence are inverted.
