नव बिधु बिमल तात जसु तोरा। रघुबर किंकर कुमुद चकोरा॥ उदित सदा अँथइहि कबहूँ ना। घटिहि न जग नभ दिन दिन दूना॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nava bidhu bimala tāta yasu torā। raghubara kiṃkara kumuda cakorā॥ udita sadā aṃthaihi kabahūṃ nā। ghaṭihi na jaga nabha dina dina dūnā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
O dear sir, your glory is a stainless new moon, and Rama's servants are the kumuda lily and the chakora bird. That moon sets and wanes every day, bringing sorrow to the kumuda and the chakora; but this moon of your fame will always remain risen and will never set. In the sky of the world, it will not diminish; rather, it will grow doubly day by day.
