नहिं तृन चरहिं न पिअहिं जलु मोचहिं लोचन बारि। ब्याकुल भए निषाद सब रघुबर बाजि निहारि॥ १४२ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nahiṃ tṛna carahiṃ na piahim̐ jalu mocahiṃ locana bāri। byākula bhae niṣāda saba raghubara bāji nihāri॥ 142 ॥
Meaning
They neither graze on grass nor drink water. They only shed tears from their eyes. Seeing Rama’s horses in this state, all the Nishads were overcome with distress.
