मुनि तापस जिन्ह तें दुखु लहहीं। ते नरेस बिनु पावक दहहीं॥ मंगल मूल बिप्र परितोषू। दहइ कोटि कुल भूसुर रोषू॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
muni tāpasa jinha teṃ dukhu lahahīṃ। te naresa bina pāvaka dahahīṃ॥ maṅgala mūla bipra paritoṣū। dahi koṭi kula bhūsura roṣū॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
For kings from whom sages and ascetics suffer sorrow are burned up even without fire, consumed by their own evil deeds. The satisfaction of Brahmins is the root of all auspiciousness, while the anger of the godly Brahmins can burn up millions of lineages.
