मिटा मोदु मन भए मलीने। बिधि निधि दीन्ह लेत जनु छीने॥ समुझि करम गति धीरजु कीन्हा। सोधि सुगम मगु तिन्ह कहि दीन्हा॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
miṭā modu mana bhae malīne। bidhī nidhī dīnh leta janu chīne॥ samujhi karama gati dhīraju kīnhā। sodhi sugama magu tinha kahi dīnhā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Their joy vanished and their hearts became gloomy, as if Fate were snatching away the wealth it had given. Understanding the course of karma, they composed themselves and, after making sure, pointed out the easy road.
