मंगलमूल रामु सुत जासू। जो कछु कहिअ थोर सबु तासू॥ रायँ सुभायँ मुकुरु कर लीन्हा। बदनु बिलोकि मुकुटु सम कीन्हा॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

maṅgalamūla rāmu suta jāsū। jo kachu kahi'a thora sabu tāsū॥ rāyaṃ subhāyaṃ mukuru kara līnhā। badanu biloki mukuṭu sama kīnhā॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Rama, the root of all auspiciousness, is his son; whatever is said of him is only a little. The king naturally took up a mirror, and seeing his face in it, straightened his crown.
