लालन जोगु लखन लघु लोने। भे न भाइ अस अहहिं न होने॥ पुरजन प्रिय पितु मातु दुलारे। सिय रघुबीरहि प्रानपिआरे॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lālana jogu lakhana laghu lōne। bhē na bhāi asa ahahiṃ na hone॥ purajana priya pitu mātu dulāre। siya raghubīrahi prānapiāre॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
My younger brother Lakshman is very handsome and lovable. Such a brother neither has been, nor is, nor ever will be. Lakshman is dear to the people of Ayodhya, beloved of his parents, and dear to Sita and Rama.
