कृपासिंधु लखि लोग दुखारे। निज सनेहँ सुरपति छल भारे॥ सभा राउ गुर महिसुर मंत्री। भरत भगति सब कै मति जंत्री॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kṛpāsindhu lakhi loga dukhāre। nija sanehaṃ surapati chala bhāre॥ sabhā rāu guru mahisura maṃtrī। bharata bhagati saba kai mati jaṃtrī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The ocean of compassion, Rama, saw the people distressed by His own affection and by the great deceit of Indra. The minds of the assembly, the king, the guru, the brahmins, and the ministers were all held fast by Bharata's devotion.
