कहहु सुपेम प्रगट को करई। केहि छाया कबि मति अनुसरई॥ कबिहि अरथ आखर बलु साँचा। अनुहरि ताल गतिहि नटु नाचा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kahahu supema pragaṭa ko karai। kehi chāyā kabi mati anusarī॥ kabihi aratha ākhara balu sāṁcā। anuhari tāla gatihi naṭu nācā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Tell me, who can reveal that lofty love? Whose shadow can the poet’s mind follow? For the poet, only letters and meaning are the true strength. The dancer moves only in step with the rhythm!
