जाउँ राम पहिं आयसु देहू। एकहिं आँक मोर हित एहू॥ मोहि नृप करि भल आपन चहहू। सोउ सनेह जड़ता बस कहहू॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jāṃu rāma pahiṃ āyasu dehū। ekahiṃ āṃka mora hita ehū॥ mohi nṛpa kari bhala āpana cahahū। sou saneha jaṛatā basa kahahū॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Give me your permission and let me go to Rama! In this alone lies my true good. And when you seek to make me king, you say it only under the spell of affectionate delusion.
