जानि तुम्हहि मृदु कहउँ कठोरा। कुसमयँ तात न अनुचित मोरा॥ होहिं कुठायँ सुबंधु सहाए। ओड़िअहिं हाथ असनिहु के घाए॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jāni tumhahiṃ mṛdu kahauṃ kaṭhorā। kusamayaṃ tāta na anuucita morā॥ hohiṃ kuṭhāyaṃ subandhu sahāe। oṛiahiṃ hātha asanihu ke ghāe॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Knowing you to be gentle, I am speaking a harsh thing. Father, in an evil time, this is not improper for me. In a bad place, noble brothers are the ones who help. Even lightning's blows are warded off by the hand.
