इन्हहि देखि बिधि मनु अनुरागा। पटतर जोग बनावै लागा॥ कीन्ह बहुत श्रम ऐक न आए तेहिं इरिषा बन आनि दुराए॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

inhahiṃ dekhi vidhi manu anurāgā। paṭatara joga banāvai lāgā॥ kīnha bahuta śrama aika na āe tehiṃ iriṣā bana āni durāe॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Seeing them, Providence himself became enamored and began to fashion another pair suited to them. He labored greatly, but none of his creations matched them; out of jealousy he brought them into the forest and hid them there.
