गुर के बचन सचिव अभिनंदनु। सुने भरत हिय हित जनु चंदनु॥ सुनी बहोरि मातु मृदु बानी। सील सनेह सरल रस सानी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gura ke bacana saciva abhinaṃdanu। sune bharata hiya hita janu candanu॥ sunī bahori mātu mṛdu bānī। sīla saneha sarala rasa sānī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Bharat heard the guru’s words and the ministers’ approval, which were to his heart like sandalwood. Then he heard the gentle words of his mother, soaked in the essence of virtue, affection, and simplicity.
