एहि दुख दाहँ दहइ दिन छाती। भूख न बासर नीद न राती॥ एहि कुरोग कर औषधु नाहीं। सोधेउँ सकल बिस्व मन माहीं॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ehi dukha dāhaṃ daha'i dina chātī। bhūkha na bāsara nīda na rātī॥ ehi kuroga kara auṣadhu nāhīṃ। sodheuṃ sakala bisva mana māhīṃ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

By the burning pain of this sorrow, my chest keeps burning day and night. I feel no hunger by day and no sleep at night. I searched through the entire world in my heart, but there is no medicine for this disease.
