एहि बिधि करत प्रलाप कलापा। आए अवध भरे परितापा॥ बिषम बियोगु न जाइ बखाना। अवधि आस सब राखहिं प्राना॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ehi bidhi karata pralāpa kalāpā। āe avadha bhare paritāpā॥ biṣama biyogu na jāi bakhānā। avadhi āsa saba rākhahiṃ prānā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Thus lamenting in many ways, they came to Ayodhya, filled with grief. The state of their terrible separation cannot be described. They are keeping themselves alive only in hope of the fourteen-year term being completed.

This is Chaupai 4, Under Doha 86 from Ayodhya Kand, in the episode “Departure for the Forest, Ayodhya Left Behind”. The episode describes Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana departing for the forest while Ayodhya's grieving citizens are left sleeping behind.
