एहि बिधि करत पंथ पछितावा। तमसा तीर तुरत रथु आवा॥ बिदा किए करि बिनय निषादा। फिरे पायँ परि बिकल बिषादा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ehi bidhi karata pantha pachitāvā। tamasā tīra turata rathu āvā॥ bidā kie kari binaya niṣādā। phire pāyã pari bikala biṣādā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Sumantra kept repenting on the way like this, and in the meantime the chariot quickly reached the bank of the Tamasa River. The minister politely dismissed the four Nishadas. Overcome with sorrow, they returned after falling at Sumantra's feet.
