दुइ कि होइ एक समय भुआला। हँसब ठठाइ फुलाउब गाला॥ दानि कहाउब अरु कृपनाई। होइ कि खेम कुसल रौताई॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dui ki hoi eka samaya bhuālā। haṃsaba ṭhaṭhāi phulāuba gālā॥ dāni kahāuba aru kripanāī। hoi ki khema kusala rautāī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
O king, can two things happen together: laughing uproariously and puffing out the cheeks? Can one be called generous and yet stingy? Can royal valor and well-being both remain intact?
