दोउ बर कूल कठिन हठ धारा। भवँर कूबरी बचन प्रचारा॥ ढाहत भूपरूप तरु मूला। चली बिपति बारिधि अनुकूला॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
doū bara kūla kaṭhina haṭha dhārā। bhavra kūbarī bacana pracārā॥ dhāhata bhūparūpa taru mūlā। calī bipati bāridhi anukūlā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The two boons are its banks; Kaikeyi's stubborn will is its fierce current, and the prompting of the hunchbacked Manthara's words is the whirlpool. That river of wrath is tearing down the tree that is King Dasharatha and rushing straight toward the sea of calamity.
