देवँ दीन्ह सबु मोहि अभारू। मोरें नीति न धरम बिचारू॥ कहउँ बचन सब स्वारथ हेतू। रहत न आरत कें चित चेतू॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
devaṃ dīhna sabu mohi abhārū। moreṃ nīti na dharama bicārū॥ kahauṃ bacana saba svāratha hetū। rahata na ārata keṃ cita cetū॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
O Lord, You have placed the entire burden on me. Yet I have neither regard for policy nor for dharma. I speak only for my own interest. In the heart of a suffering person, awareness does not remain.
