दरसनु देब जानि निज दासी। लखीं सीयँ सब प्रेम पिआसी॥ मधुर बचन कहि कहि परितोषीं। जनु कुमुदिनीं कौमुदीं पोषीं॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
darasanu deb jāni nija dāsī। lakhīṃ siy̐ saba prema piāsī॥ madhura bachana kahi kahi paritoṣīṃ। janu kumudinīṃ kaumudīṃ poṣīṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
'Please grant us your darshan, knowing us to be your maidservants.' Sita saw them all thirsting for love, and by speaking sweet words again and again she delighted them, as if moonlight had nourished the night-blooming lilies.
