बोरति ग्यान बिराग करारे। बचन ससोक मिलत नद नारे॥ सोच उसास समीर तंरगा। धीरज तट तरुबर कर भंगा॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

borati gyāna birāga karāre। bacana sasoka milata nadi nāre॥ socha usāsa samīra taraṅgā। dhīraja taṭa tarubara kara bhaṅgā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

This river of compassion has swelled so much that it submerges the banks of knowledge and dispassion. Words filled with sorrow are like streams and rivulets flowing into it; and sighs of grief are the waves stirred by gusts of wind, breaking the noble trees on the banks of patience.
