भा सब कें मन मोदु न थोरा। जनु घन धुनि सुनि चातक मोरा॥ चलत प्रात लखि निरनउ नीके। भरतु प्रानप्रिय भे सबही के॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bhā saba keṃ mana modu na thorā। janu ghana dhuni suni cātaka morā॥ calata prāta lakhi niranau nīke। bharatu prānapriya bhe sabahī ke॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Everyone felt no little joy—indeed, great joy. It was as if the chakora bird and the peacock were delighting on hearing the thunder of the clouds. Seeing the auspicious decision to set out in the morning, Bharata became dear to all as life itself.
