बेद बिदित संमत सबही का। जेहि पितु देइ सो पावइ टीका॥ करहु राजु परिहरहु गलानी। मानहु मोर बचन हित जानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
beda bidita saṃmata sabahī kā। jehi pitu dei so pāvai ṭīkā॥ karahu rāju pariharahu galānī। mānahu mora bacana hita jānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
This is well known in the Vedas and accepted by all the scriptures: the one whom the father gives it to receives the royal coronation. Therefore, you should rule the kingdom; give up hesitation. Accept my words, knowing them to be for your good.
