बलकल बसन जटिल तनु स्यामा। जनु मुनिबेष कीन्ह रति कामा॥ कर कमलनि धनु सायकु फेरत। जिय की जरनि हरत हँसि हेरत॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
balakala basana jaṭila tanu syāmā। janu munibeṣa kīnha rati kāmā॥ kara kamalani dhanu sāyaku pherata। jiya kī jarani harata haṁsi herata॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Rama wears bark garments, bears matted hair, and has a dark-hued body; it is as though Rati and Kama have taken on the guise of sages. With his lotus hands he handles the bow and arrows, and a mere smiling glance removes the burning pain of the heart.
