बाजहिं बाजने बिबिध बिधाना। पुर प्रमोदु नहिं जाइ बखाना॥ भरत आगमनु सकल मनावहिं। आवहुँ बेगि नयन फलु पावहिं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bājahiṃ bājane bibidha bidhānā। pura pramodu nahiṃ jāi bakhānā॥ bharata āgamanu sakala manāvahiṃ। āvahuṃ begi nayana phalu pāvahiṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Various kinds of musical instruments are sounding. The city’s great joy cannot be described. Everyone is celebrating Bharata’s arrival and saying, “Come quickly too, and let your eyes attain their fruit (the blessed sight of the ceremony).”
