अति लालसा बसहिं मन माहीं। नाउँ गाउँ बूझत सकुचाहीं॥ जे तिन्ह महुँ बयबिरिध सयाने। तिन्ह करि जुगुति रामु पहिचाने॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
Ati lālasā basahiṃ mana māhīṃ। Nāuṃ gāuṃ būjhata sakucāhīṃ॥ Je tinha mahuṃ bayabiridha sayāne। Tinha kari juguti Rāmu pahicāne॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Their hearts were full of longing to learn who these people were, yet they hesitated to ask their names and village. Among them, the elderly and wise ones recognized Shri Ramchandra through clever deduction.
