आसन सयन बिभूषन हीना। परेउ भूमितल निपट मलीना॥ लेइ उसासु सोच एहि भाँती। सुरपुर तें जनु खँसेउ जजाती॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
āsana sayana bibhūṣana hīnā। pareu bhūmitala nipaṭa malīnā॥ lei usāsu soca ehi bhāṃtī। surapura teṃ janu khaṃseu jajātī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
The king lay on the bare ground, bereft of seat, bedding, and ornaments, utterly despondent. Sighing deeply, he brooded in this way, as if King Yayati had fallen from heaven.
