अनहित तोर प्रिया केइँ कीन्हा। केहि दुइ सिर केहि जमु चह लीन्हा॥ कहु केहि रंकहि करौं नरेसू। कहु केहि नृपहि निकासौं देसू॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

anahita tora priyā keiṃ kīnhā। kehi dui sira kehi jamu caha līnhā॥ kahu kehi raṅkahi karauṃ naresū। kahu kehi nṛpahi nikāsauṃ desū॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Beloved, who has done you harm? Who has two heads? Whom does Yama want to take? Say, which beggar should I make king, or which king should I drive from the land?
