राखिअ नारि जदपि उर माहीं। जुबती सास्त्र नृपति बस नाहीं॥ देखहु तात बसंत सुहावा। प्रिया हीन मोहि भय उपजावा॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rākhi'a nāri jadapi ura māhīṃ। jubatī sāstra nṛpati basa nāhīṃ॥ dekhu tāta basanta suhāvā। priyā hīna mohi bhaya upajāvā॥ 5 ॥

Meaning

A woman may be kept even within the heart, yet a young woman, a scripture, and a king are not under anyone’s control. O father, look at this beautiful spring. Without my beloved, it awakens fear in me.
