जब ते राम कीन्ह तहँ बासा। सुखी भए मुनि बीती त्रासा॥ गिरि बन नदीं ताल छबि छाए। दिन दिन प्रति अति होहिं सुहाए॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jaba te rāma kīnha tahaṃ bāsā। sukhī bhae muni bītī trāsā॥ giri bana nadīṃ tāla chabi chāe। dina dina prati ati hohiṃ suhāe॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
From the time Rama took up residence there, the sages became happy and their fear was gone. The mountains, forests, rivers, and lakes were filled with beauty, growing more and more delightful day by day.
