एक बार प्रभु सुख आसीना। लछिमन बचन कहे छलहीना॥ सुर नर मुनि सचराचर साईं। मैं पूछउँ निज प्रभु की नाईं॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
eka bāra prabhu sukha āsīnā। lachimana bachana kahe chalahīnā॥ sura nara muni sacarācara sāīṃ। maiṃ pūchauṃ nija prabhu kī nāīṃ॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Once, Lord Rama was seated in comfort. At that time Lakshmana spoke sincere words: "O Lord of gods, men, sages, and all that moves and does not move, I ask you as I would ask my own master."
