अधम ते अधम अधम अति नारी। तिन्ह महँ मैं मतिमंद अघारी॥ कह रघुपति सुनु भामिनि बाता। मानउँ एक भगति कर नाता॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
adhama te adhama adhama ati nārī। tinha mahaṃ maiṃ matimaṃda aghārī॥ kaha raghupati sunu bhāmini bātā। mānauṃ eka bhagati kara nātā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Among the low, women are extremely low; and among them too, O Destroyer of sins, I am dull-witted. Raghupati said: Listen, O gentle lady. I regard only one bond— that of devotion.
