सुनु प्रभु बहुत अवग्या किएँ। उपज क्रोध ग्यानिन्ह के हिएँ॥ अति संघरषन जौं कर कोई। अनल प्रगट चंदन ते होई॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sunu prabhu bahuta avagyā kieṃ। upaja krodha gyāninha ke hieṃ॥ ati saṅgharaṣana jauṃ kara koī। anala pragaṭa candana te hoī॥ 8 ॥

Meaning

Listen, Lord: when one is greatly insulted, anger rises even in the heart of a wise person. If someone rubs sandalwood too much, fire too can emerge from it.
