सुनु खगेस नहिं कछु रिषि दूषन। उर प्रेरक रघुबंस बिभूषन॥ कृपासिंधु मुनि मति करि भोरी। लीन्ही प्रेम परिच्छा मोरी॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sunu khagesa nahiṃ kachu riṣi dūṣana। ura preraka raghubansa bibhūṣana॥ kṛpāsindhu muni mati kari bhorī। līnhī prema paricchā morī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Kakabhushundi said: O king of birds, Garuda, listen. There was no fault at all in the sage. Rama, the ornament of Raghu's line, is the one who inspires all hearts. The ocean of compassion made the sage's mind simple and thus tested my devotion.
