सूद्र करहिं जप तप ब्रत नाना। बैठि बरासन कहहिं पुराना॥ सब नर कल्पित करहिं अचारा। जाइ न बरनि अनीति अपारा॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sūdra karahiṃ japa tapa brata nānā। baiṭhi barāsana kahahiṃ purānā॥ saba nara kalpita karahiṃ acārā। jāi na barani anīti apārā॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
Shudras perform many kinds of japa, austerities, and vows, and sit on high seats to recite the Puranas. All men behave as they please; the boundless unrighteousness cannot be described.
