संभु मंत्र मोहि द्विजबर दीन्हा। सुभ उपदेस बिबिध बिधि कीन्हा॥ जपउँ मंत्र सिव मंदिर जाई। हृदयँ दंभ अहमिति अधिकाई॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sambhu maṃtra mohi dvijabara dīnhā। subha upadesa bibidha bidhi kīnhā॥ japauṃ mantra siva mandira jāī। hṛdayaṃ daṃbha ahamiti adhikāī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
That excellent Brahmin gave me the mantra of Shiva and taught me many kinds of good counsel. I would go to Shiva's temple and recite the mantra. Pride and arrogance grew in my heart.
